Explanation of this survey of Tri-Lake retail store offerings:

This site is meant to serve as a guide to consumers and visitors to the Tri-Lakes communities to provide a listing of the wide array of products for sale. It is not likely to be all-inclusive because of the number and variety of goods available but we seek to make it as inclusive as possible. All vendors, within the tri-lakes region, are invited to submit their current store inventory for inclusion. Sometimes, when a store has declined to provide a detailed listing, volunteers from the Save Saranac Lake Coalition have attempted to provide this information; in all such cases we endeavor to disclose this on the store's listing.

We try to keep this list as current as possible, but a store's failure to timely advise us of merchandise changes, or lapses in time, or clerical errors may result in a product not being listed as shown. We expect these to be minimal and believe that this project well serves the public good and common purpose of having a means for the community to be aware of the variety of merchandise that is locally available.
