This page offers some assistance in navigating our merchant sign-up and item upload processes. We've tried to make them as user-friendly as possible.

Hints:
Business Name: (Required) Names containing an ampersand (&) will be changed to "and" for the present. If your business has more than 1 location, please use your town as part of the name to differentiate the listings. eg: "Walt's Widgets Lake Placid" & "Walts Widgets Saranac Lake"
Contact Person:: (Required)
User Name: (Required) For login. Max. 20 letters and numbers only. Note: If you have two stores, you will need a separate user name for each.
Password: (Required) For login. Max. 20 letters and numbers only.
Street Number: (Optional)
Street Name: (Required) This field can contain a PO Box if that is your business address.
City: (Required) Please use the whole town name. Example: "Placid" or "E-town" will be ignored by searches.
Business Phone: (Optional) For display. Area code not required.
Contact Phone: (Required) For us to contact you if necessary. Will not be displayed.
Email to display (Optional) Displayed online.
Contact Email (Required) Where we contact you about this website. This is not displayed.
Website (Optional) "http://www." is entered automatically. Just enter your domain name, like shopthetrilakes.com.
Special Orders? (Optional *) Can customers order items not in stock?
Offer Service? (Optional *) Do you offer service in addition to/ or instead of products?
Handicapped Accessible? (Optional *) Is your business completely accessible? If limited access, please check no but describe the access in the notes.
Accessibility notes: (Optional) Used to add info such as "elevator provided" or "Please call ahead for assistance."
Brief Store Description (Optional) Please be brief, for your customer's convenience and to make the pages display quickly. Please do not list your items here as they will not be searchable or appear under any categories.
* Only items checked "yes" will display on your page. That is, your page will not say that your business is not handicapped accessible or that you do not special order items.
After submitting your info, a website administrator will verify your request and contact you when your account is set up and ready for uploading item information. Note: If you are revising your store info, your business listing will be removed from the site temporarily until approved by an administrator.
Merchant Item Upload Tips
Hints:
Item Name: (Required) Max 255 characters.
Category: (Required) Select a category or 'Misc" from the list.
Second Category: (Optional) Select another category if desired.
Size: (Optional) Brief text about sizes if applicable.
Add a note: (Optional) Max. 255 characters of text.
After submitting your info, a website administrator will verify your request and the item will display online. Check your item list after logging in to see which items still need approval.
